Thanks mike, You could use these for bass, panfish or trout. I plan on using them mainly for trout though. Trout are suckers for foam hoppers! Smaller size ones in the 10-12 range work well in this area.
Very cool that you are tying now. They look great! Mid summer terrestrial for trout then? They look like bass would crush them in the shallows on the Res too.
I've been told that there may be a Cicada "hatch" this spring. Those hoppers look like a reasonable facsimile. I'll bet you might land a nice fish on one if you are in the right place at the right time.
