Carp fly spin off

Hey anglers,

I tied up another pattern recently.  This is my spin off of a successful carp pattern made by rainy's called the popcorn ball.  I named my spin off fly carp candy.  The popcorn ball is made with a krystal flash chenille material. With carp flies weight is important because the fly must be on the bottom where the carp is feeding for the most hook up success.

Changes---Added lead wire for extra weight, added a beadhead, used yellow egg yarn for the body instead of the krystal chenille.

Popcorn ball--rainy's

Carp Candy

TMC 105 nymph hook size 6
Mcflyon egg yarn yellow
Chinese saddle hackle-white
Lead wire hook
UTC 140 yellow thread
4.5 mm nickel bead

I have a feeling this pattern will be "carp candy" and I plan on using it a lot on my hunts for carp on a fly.
