Tied up a new pattern called a popcorn ball. This is a carp floating pattern. This fly is suppose to mimic the cotton wood bloom that just blew onto the surface of the water. Carp are said to devour these so i figure it cant hurt to have this pattern along with my another carp patterns. I found a really good feather for the first one I tied, the second fly was not as lucky!
John, good luck with this man. I know you will finally net a monster Carp out of the EB this summer. It'll be even sweeter on your own fly. Looks cool!
