Nice local brown

Hey anglers,

Pay close attention to when we get heavy rains. I love fly fishing after rainstorms. Those flooding reservoirs bring nicer trout into the stream along with cooler water.

Fly fishing has been fairly tough this season mainly because lack of time. It has been pretty tough out there but I ended up picking up a nice female brown on 6x tippet. I was using a small midge dropper off my streamer because this season has been nothing but browns almost hitting my streamers.

This setup has been working well for me. I managed to hook into a nicer brown off the dropper midge but broke off after fighting this brown for awhile. I setup the rig again and managed to pick up another brown.  This brown had great colors as well as amazing spots.  It felt great hooking into this fish. It jumped out of the water 3 times which was great to watch. Enjoy the pics as well as fly fishing out there. The nicer browns are making there way into the streams.

  3. Beautiful Browns John. Cool idea of dropping that midge off the streamer. Ill add that to my list of "have to try" along with tandem streamers which I haven't done yet either.

    Agree with Manny. Cool tune!
