The romance of fly fishing

Fall is setting in early according to the fly fishing.  I hooked and landed a beautiful brown on a small size 18 fire midge on 6x tippet.  This midge was fished as a dropper off my streamer.  I am really pushing that 6x tippet to the limit.  I will change the tippet and retire the midge (it is pretty torn up).  I have gotten such quality fish using this method, i may never fish a single streamer again!  This was an amazing local catch that I will relive for years to come. Catches like this is what the romance of fly fishing is all about.  Enjoy the pics and the song.
